I do lots and lots of outreach. Lots. and Lots. This year, working for the Beijing Institute of Education, my life is outreach. demo lessons, teacher trainings, more demo lessons, observations, more trainings. I write lots of highlights that get sent off to the Regional English Language Office at the embassy. So far I have given a lesson in front of over 500 students and worked with over 100 teachers. It's pretty cool, especially when they use what I've shown in their own classes. To give you a sense of what i'm up to these days, here are some snippets! Oct 27- I gave a demonstration lesson in the Pinggu district, a rural suburb of Beijing.
